Commitment to diversity

Commitment to diversity

The LOS Transfusion Registry is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity, both in its scientific endeavours and in its organisational structure. Our commitment to diversity is reflected in our inclusive and multidisciplinary and inclusive Scientific Advisory Board, which includes experts from different fields and backgrounds. This diversity enhances our research by incorporating a broad range of perspectives, leading to more comprehensive and innovative solutions in transfusion medicine.

Diverse scientific teams

Diverse scientific teams are crucial to tackling the complex challenges in transfusion medicine. By integrating different viewpoints, experiences and expertise, we can better understand and address the diverse needs of patients in Europe and around the world. This approach not only enriches our research, but also ensures that our findings are applicable and useful to a wide range of people.

Promoting inclusivity

Our governance framework actively encourages collaboration between researchers, healthcare professionals and policy makers from different backgrounds. This inclusive approach ensures that our research benefits from a broad range of knowledge and experience, ultimately leading to more robust and impactful scientific results.

Diverse participation

We endeavour to include participants from different demographic, geographic and socio-economic backgrounds in our registry. This diversity of participants ensures that our research findings are representative and can lead to equitable improvements in healthcare across different population groups.

By promoting diversity and inclusivity, the LOS Transfusion Registry not only advances the field of transfusion medicine, but also fosters a research environment that values and respects the contributions of all people. This commitment to diversity enhances our ability to innovate and improve health outcomes for all.
